I commuted around my hometown for a few years before buying my first road bike in 2017. I haven't looked back since. Although beginning my PhD in Climate Modeling brought me to Austin in 2020, it was the cycling scene that sparked my interest in this town to begin with. With punchy hills and a strong women's cycling field, I knew this city would help me grow in ways my hometown couldn't. When I'm not doing research, you'll find me putting long miles in on the bike and attempting to take bike trips (including bikepacking) whenever possible. Although crits are my true love, I enjoy every style of riding and also race cyclocross, gravel, track, and mountain bike.
