I grew up mountain biking along side my dad, as time progressed my competitive side led me to the Texas High School Mountain bike league. My sophomore year of high school I created and coached the Hays County Composite Mountain Bike team for the high school league. During my final two years of high school I got more and more serious and landed a cycling scholarship for Mars Hill University in Mars Hill, North Carolina. I got into cyclocross and road racing through the school. I'm now in my junior year of College, and my second year of road racing. I have learned a lot through racing experience in the US as well as Belgium and hope to use my experience to help the team to wins while I am in Texas.
